Cargo insurance protects you from financial loss due to damaged or lost cargo.

 

It pays you the amount you’re insured for if a covered event happens to your freight. And these covered events are usually natural disasters, vehicle accidents and more.

 

ARC can offer you cargo insurance, covering the following risks:

 

CLAUSE “C”
It offers the most limited coverage, and covers loss or damage of cargo attributed to: explosion or fire, grounding, sinking or overturning of a ship – overturning, derailment, collision or collision of a land transport vehicle or other object other than the ship or other carrier water unloading of the transported goods to a port of danger or recourse to the sacrifice of general weightlifting voluntary dumping of the goods at sea.

 

CLAUSE “Β”
It offers wider coverage than clause C and covers clause C and in addition: volcanic eruption, earthquake or lightning dragging the goods into the sea from a wave of water, sea, lake or river inflow into the means of transport or to any container or storage space, of rainwater total loss of parcel during sea voyage or during loading and unloading to and from the ship or vessel.

 

CLAUSE “Α”
This clause offers the most complete coverage, covering that clauses B and C, but also other risks that are not expressly excluded.
